A conceptual audiovisual piece centered around sancocho, one of Colombia’s most emblematic traditional dishes. The project explores the cultural values of family, gathering, and shared moments that the dish represents within Colombian culture.

The voice-over acts as the narrative thread throughout the video, introducing the essence of sancocho, its ingredients, and the meaning it holds for Colombian people. Through this approach, the piece connects gastronomy with cultural identity.

This project also became a personal exploration of my own heritage, allowing me to reconnect with Colombian culture through food, supported by research into the origins and traditions surrounding the dish.
